"Brain Coral Blue"
Is part of my recent original abstract works inspired from holidays with my family in North Queensland. Living amongst some of the most amazing and beautiful scenery there is.
Rainforest on one side and the Great Barrier Reef on the other.
"A Day On the Reef" is a series of acrylics works inspired by a fishing trip just off Mission Beach. The day started at 4am with a calm ocean and blue skies. I was intrigued with the patterns of the GPS mapping system that my son had with all his best fishing spots dotted all over the place Reef Maps I,II,III. We came to a very shallow area where you can see the coral just below the surface which inspired the Brain Coral series.
